The Red Ribbon Club, Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung organized an awareness programme on HIV/AIDS on 10th September, 2024 on the theme “Engage, Educate, Emancipate”. Mr. Moatemsu, B.A. 5th Semester chaired the programme and Ms. Lanukokla, B.Sc. 1st Semester presented a special song. Dr. Imnawabang, Nodal Officer, RRC, FAC, welcomed the guests and participants. The Resource person for the programme Dr. Kilangwabang Pongener, Senior Medical Officer, IMDH, enlightened the students on routes of HIV transmission, symptoms, different stages of infection, prevention and treatment. He also mentioned on the treatment and medications available in IMDH. The Vice-principal along with 6 faculties and 540 students attended the programme.
